Justice, Second Court of Appeals, Place 7

Brian Walker has been a justice on the Second Court of Appeals in Fort Worth since January 1, 2021, after winning election in 2020³. He previously worked as a prosecutor in Harrison County and for almost fifteen years in private practice handling military and veterans law, civil litigation and criminal defense². He is the Republican nominee for Place 7 and the only candidate on the Secretary of State's general election list for that seat¹.

Ran in the 2024 Republican primary for Place 4 on the Supreme Court of Texas and lost to incumbent John Devine, 50.4 to 49.6 percent⁵. Unopposed in the 2026 Republican primary; no Democrat filed⁴⁵.
