Chris Taylor is the presiding judge of the 48th District Court in Tarrant County, appointed by Gov. Greg Abbott in October 2021 and elected without opposition in 2022 and 202434. Before taking the bench he worked in civil litigation in private practice and in the civil division of the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney's Office23.
