Clayton Tucker is a cattle and goat rancher from Lampasas, Secretary of the Texas Farmers Union and a fair trade organizer¹². He previously worked as a water and agriculture researcher for the National Science Foundation and as a kindergarten teacher². He was unopposed in the March 2026 Democratic primary and ran for Texas Senate District 24 in 2020, losing to Dawn Buckingham¹².
