Frederick D. Haynes III has been senior pastor of Friendship-West Baptist Church in southern Dallas for more than 40 years and briefly led the Rainbow PUSH Coalition¹². He won the March 3, 2026 Democratic primary for Texas's 30th Congressional District, the seat held by Rep. Jasmine Crockett, who ran for the U.S. Senate². He has not held elected office⁶.
